Paid $2.79 for super..........30 gallons of it..

I see close to $4.00 a gallon for 93 octane by mid summer as viable....

That ethanol still is looking might sweet....

I think it's all due to what side of the bed the Shieks get up on. The President of Olamgumby sneezed....raise the price/barrel!! The CEO of Exxon got a hang nail....raise the price so he can pay for doctors fee's.

The price around her (Along the Muddy Banks) was 1.99/gal just last month. This month it's 2.44/gal. Seems the government could do something to put a bridal on prices. They due it to utilities. Why not fuel?

They tried price controls on gas back in 1973 - remember what happened then? I'd rather pay 3 bucks/gal than to wait in line for it.

For some reason diesel is now less than gas again at $2.69...it hasn't been that way in a long time. It hasn't gone below $2 here for years now...

I'm really starting to wonder how long we are going to put up with this bull**** before somebody finally does something about it. This is gouging and nothing else...

$2.89 and rising.....heard today that all meat is expected to drastically go up in price since corn is being used up for ethanol......doesn't matter to me much....a country boy will survive.

I think Dub needs to get his butt out of Brazil and fly over to Saudi Arabia and hold hands with the old sheik for awhile. See if he can't cajole him to lower prices.

You are suposed to go to work then go spend money and go homeand watch TV or play video games etc. you are not suposed to go have fun at the lake/river/whatever, spend your money and go home!

I could care less. At 3 bucks a gallon my weekly gas bill is 2.80. At 2 bucks a gallon is about 1.95.

Riding a scooter has its benefits!

80mpg city baby!

I too have a scooter, but I don't have the luxury of the weather you have. I want to bring it out, but its till below frezzin at night and even during the day its only a few degrees above that if at all. Maybe when I can see the grass again I will start up the scooter.......

I tried keeping track of mpg......somewhere near 80.

$2.54 here. Said it was due to switching from the winter gas to the cleaner burning summer fuel.

They got more excuses than our politicians have lies. If it's not a formula switch, it's a busted pipeline, or a refinery out of commission, or competition with winter heating oil, or a hurricane, yada, yada, yada, ad nauseum.

Then the cable monopolies jack up their rates 'cause they know everyone is growing more dependant on them.

And that was the excuse for the increase back when they switched to the winter blend. Our politicians could control the prices as they do with utilities. But if they let the big oil control it as they did in the '70's, then we will have a repeat of the '70's. But our politicians don't have the integrity or courage to stand up to one of their (the republican's especially) biggest campaign contributors. Remember the record profits last year? They will do everything they can, lie, gouge, cheat, lie to surpass them this year. After all it's all about the $$$$, and don't think that John Q. Public counts for anything, not with this administration expecially.
