gas tank capacity

I'm done with the oil injection system on my <br />1989 1650 V Procraft. I need the quickest way to find out the gas tank capacity.... I have about a 1/2 tank full of gas in there right now, and could empty it and watch the gas pump meter. But is there another solution ? p.s. I don't have a manual of any sort for the boat... thx.

with out the dim. of the tank or full capacity it would only be an guess .

Bill, A lot of the tanks used are standard. If you can measure it's dimensions and match it to a Tempo or other tank manufacturer. Otherwise you can measure it's dimentions, multiply LxWxH to get cu inches and convert to gallons.
