I have a 1990 Maxum with a 12 gallon built in gas tank, it looks like the maker is Skyline, where would I get a new sending unit, I had it out today and its definately bad. Thanks
Wing,<br /><br />Most of the universal sending units will work. The sending unit you took out was probably nade by Tempo.<br /><br />The important thing to watch while shopping for a new unit is the depth of your tank. New sending units will give a depth range.
what size and type is that boat. I am asking becuase I have a 18ft bowrider 1990 Maxum and the built in tank is 20.5 gallons. Just wondering if for some reason somone may have replaced your tank with a smaller one messing up the whole float system???
