Anyone got some tips as to how I squeeze a few more miles out of the gas that I am running through my 1989 150 Black Max, any additives that really work?
Nope... Don't get me started....<br /><br />Just have to make sure your engine is running properly and that you are driving the rig for optimum performance...<br /><br />Just keep this in mind.. 150hp/10 = gallons of fuel used at WOT...<br /><br />Less RMP's reduces it rather significantly...
I guess I should add that you are dealing with a carbed motor with a fuel pump that is rpm driven. Additives will not change the fuel consumption...<br /><br />Maybe some carb adjustments, cleaning, etc. but don't lean it out or you could cook the baby....
