Ok, I am prob an idiot..
Need a quick tip on removing gauges from the panel.
I have the panel removed with the gauges attached.
To remove them, do the chrome rings on the face unscrew or???

Thanks for the help

Re: Gauge removal

Kev my boat is upside down so I dont know . I do know on a car aftermarket guages usually have a U shaped bracket attatched to the back of the guage that holds it in.

Ooooooooor I could go out and jack mine up and crawl under it on the creeper :D. I am gonna go look at your dash to see if our guages are the same :D.

Re: Gauge removal

Ok the guages to the left of the steering wheel are the same s mine . The ones to the right in the removable panel I would assume are the ones you re trying to remove . There is either a cup that screws over the back of them to hold them to the dash oooooor the brass U shaped piece I talked about before :D.

sorry i missed this one, but you got it figured out:D BTW there is some kind of dried snot that starcraft used to protect from corrosion. POA ... SWMBO doesn't like it when you rebuild a gauge cluster at the dining room table  (But honey, I had to keep an eye on our 2-1/2 yo son:D)
