When I operate my power trim on my 2006 Mercrusier 350 MPI the dash gauges, radio and GPS blink until I stop trimming. The boat is a 2006 Monterey 234fsx. Trim works great. Dual batteries, one is new.

Not sure if the trim is drawing excessive power or if it is boat wiring

I would appreciate any comments

Thanks

Trim pump is usually direct to the battery so it sounds like a loose/corroded connection

Since it is the dash board gauges, radio and gps I’ll check the connections that feed that circuit.
Thanks

start at the battery and work your way to the dash. each connection should be taken apart, sanded clean and shiny (clean enough your mother in law would eat off them) and then tightened and sealed with marine electrical varnish.

All of the boats power starts at the starter, then connected to a 90A fuse link, the other end has the alt feed and the system power feed together, from there thru the 50A CB, then to the engine harness plug, then to the dash with maybe a dash harness plug, then to the gauges,
