Gauges..

I was wondering, can you install a voltmeter, temperature and tachgauge on a 79 evinrude 55 h.p engine? I ifgured it would be goo to have in case something was goign wrong and to be able to shut down before much harm. Also is this even beneficial to do. If it is possible how would I need to go about to make sure that everything is hooked up right on the engine and what wires need to be placed where.

You can do them all, follow the directions that will come with each item.

I would go with a water pressure gauge and not the temperature gauge. A loss of water pressure is what cooks the motor and it will indicate if you get a weed clogged intake.
