I HAVE A BAYLINDER MERCURSER 470/170<br />THE CABLE TO THE GEAR DRIVE IS BAD <br />HOW DO I GET IT OFF AND BUT IT BACK ON<br />DO YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE COMPLETE DRIVE UNIT OFF<br />HOPE NOT. THANKS

try this web site they have some good instruction. merc stuff and yes you will have to remove the drive. its not that tough. just get a manuel and stick to it........good luck
