I have A 68 modle evinrude 65 hp The GEAR CASE HEAD is on tite how is the best way to re move after the bolt s are out .?

IF IT IS THE EXAUST HOUSING or prop shaft housing you can uses a wheel puller there are two treded holes in the housing bolt the puller to them and against the prop shaft titen the puller and it will pull the housing out

Hi Tidecraft....<br /><br />Torx has the right idea. If'n memory serves, the holes are 1/4" NC threads. Get a piece of all-thread and cut lengths to suit. Should work with most all pullers.<br /><br />Jim

Ok I got a wheel puller and had to make a bolt long enough to fit the puller and it worked like a charm Thanks for the help.
