What is the lube that should be used in the lower end of a 1995 mariner 60 and 9.9?

Is it just sae 90 gear oil like I would use in any gear case? The Quicksilver page show 80w90 for below 75 hp.

Premium Gear Lube
Mercury Marine gear lube outperforms automotive gear oil in marine applications because of its specialized additive package designed for marine gear cases. Continued use of this gear case lubricant will: Provide maximum protection against excessive wear - even in the presence of water Prevent corrosion and pitting Help extend gear life Mercury Premium SAE 80W90 Gear Lube is recommended for lower units for outboards below 75 horsepower. Mercury Premium SAE 80W90 Gear Lube should not be mixed with Mercury High-Performance SAE 90 Gear Lube. Available container sizes: 10oz Tube, Quart, 2.5 Gallon, 5 Gallon, 16 Gallon,
Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube SAE 90 gear lube that protects gears if water enters gearcase because it adheres to gears and internal components. Recommended for use in outboards above 75hp and all sterndrives.

Mercury Marine High Performance Gear Lube Plus SAE 90 provides superior protection and gear life longevity for high horsepower engines operating under extreme conditions. It contains improved emulsifiers to protect gears should water ever enter the gear housing, Tackifiers to improve oil film adhesion to internal components, and extreme pressure additives to protect gears from wear and metal to metal contact. For use in gear housings of all Mercury MerCruiser sterndrives as well as all outboard lower units, jet pumps, and Sport Jets over 75 horsepower, especially Mercury, Mariner, and Force outboards.
Mercury recommends changing gear lube after every 100 hours of normal use in freshwater, after 50 hours of use in saltwater, or at least once per year prior to storage.
Note: Do NOT mix with any other gear lubricants, including Premium Gear Lube
Should I use Premium Blend or High Performance gear lube in my sterndrive?
MerCruiser High Performance gear lube is required in all Bravo and Alpha I Generation II sterndrives. It is recommended for use in all older sterndrives as well. Premium Blend and High Performance gear lube should never be mixed. Be sure to drain the unit completely if switching from one type of lube to the other.
That's just the recommendations from Merc, either lube would be fine to use in your 60 HP outboard.

So you are recommending the SAE90? The quicksilver page says the 80W90 for under 75hp. Since I also have a 9.9 wouldn't that be the better choice? I could use it in both.
