Changed my gear lube on my bravo one drive. I removed the bottom drain and top plug... drained it out. put the pump in the bottom filled it up. When it was full put the top plug in then the bottom. Then Refilled the bottle in the boat. Maybe filled it up to much

when I was out running the lube drained down a about 1/6 of the gear lube monitor bottle, and it has a little.... a very little, I mean like enough to occupy the corner of the bottle of emulified oil. Like less than a 1/4 of an ounce.

Is this water oil mix just condensation or something? Can you over filll the bottle and what happens when you do?

Re: Gear lub q

Sounds like the moisture picked up by the normal expansion and contraction of the oil as it heats and cools. I have the same in mine. The reason the oil level dropped is because of the air space above the vent screw in the top of the leg. This is also normal, just refill the bottle and go play....
