Gear Lube Hose

I have gone in tried every means possible to verify that the connector is still there and that the hose just came off. I have been able to get on extremely grainy picture of what I think is the connector
fitting. hopefully I won’t have to hire a mechanic

raise OD and use flashlight and mirror and hopefully you can see the lube hose on the other side?

So I'm guessing there is nothing on the end of the loose hose.
If you take some better pictures of the inside of the transom and post them here, maybe we can determine what the situation is.
