96 vintage bravo 3 I fill gear lube resevoir run boat for a couple of hours gear lube is 3/4 gone no evidence of it leaking out prop shaft area it sits on trailer all week long i pull drain plug it looks like it is draining from bilge I checked gearcase its full to the top no water evident in lube next week same thing again this time even more coming from bilge. no evidence of any leaks from the resevoir and the hose all the way to the transom gear lube hose is attached and solid at both ends I can see some evidence of gear lube under the drive shaft area just behind the donut I suspect a seal is leaking in that area. any thoughts

drain the drive, , remove the castle nut , pull inputshaft assembly out, remove nut, and parts to get to carrier seal and holder, press out old, press in new, reassemble, install and fill with oil
