I just replaced the water pump in the outdrive and changed the gear oil. After re-installing the outdrive and running the engine, I inspected the gear oil and noticed it's light green and foamy. Does that mean I installed the water pump wrong and it's leaking into the lower unit, mixing with the gear oil? And if so, what could I have done wrong? I followed the instructions posted in a forum for replacing the water pump and I am pretty sure I put the gaskets the right way.
