Gear oil question - older motors

I have a 76 Evinrude 55HP and a 61 Evinrude "fisherman" 5.5 kicker motor and am asking if they would both use same type of gear oils....and if you could recommend a type easy to find? Evinrude stuff hard to find here, Pennzoil marine fluids and quicksilver common. I have manuals for both but oils change so much over the years...

Walmart Super tech 80-90 lower unit oil is as good as any. works fine in both motors. you need to always change the wahser seals on the drain and vent screws.

Thanks for reminding me...the smaller one had none on the vent end..., gotta see if Iboats has them yet. Will swing by wal mart in the next few days.
