NOT!!!

Muffs will not work on a 1972 25hp. The water intake on that engine is on the front of the exhaust snout behind the prop. A barrel is the best way to run this type.

Ok I think something might be wrong...you are saying it might be in front of exhaust snout, But I have a thin peice of metal with butch of holes in it just to the side of motor Left side if looking at the back of engine, the problem is could I be asking about the wrong year of engine? 25252R-E02079 I looked up first set of numbers on a website found in these forum and it said it was 72 but that paticular listing didn't have the R in it.
By the way can you possible send me a blow up of the lower half showing the water pump and tubing/plumbing that is involved I think you showed me the top part...I was looking in the cata log area of this website looking on prices and stuff and they don't have blowups of my engine that I seen. Like I don't even know where the pump actually is on mine . Well thanks for your help realy do appreciate you helping me.
