gear ratio on a 1995 130 john.

Good morning guys,<br /><br /> I read on the forum, gear ratio's of 1.86 to 1<br /> 1.89to 1. My manual sayes that my gear ratio is <br />12:27(.44) would someone unravel this for me please. thanks ---J,C,

Don't quote me on this, but I think that motor came with one of two different lower units. A small hub like the V4 crossflows and some came with a large hub like the V6's. Don't know what the ratios are but I'm assuming they're different.

Walker Hi.<br /><br /> My lower unit is the larg one it is a 130 looper. I dont understand the gear ratio of 12:27 (.44) this is what is shown in my OMC manual THanks
