Gearcase oils

What gearcase oil is purple in color? I drained the oil out of a 15 hp Johnson and it is a pretty purple color, almost peralescent(sp).

At one time I had a lubricant salesman come in our shop from a company called Royal Purple, I remember them having a purple oil, can't remember if it was gear oil or automotive....maybe worth a look

If I remember correctly Royal Purple makes multiple types of oil, including gear oil. I believe it is synthetic also.
