I have an Evercoat Gelcoat Repair Kit. It has little tubes of coloring agent included. Can I use that coloring agent with Pettit EASYPOXY polyurethane? Do they like each other?

I don't think so, Kevin.

Those tints are polyester based - made to mix with polyester gel coat resin in the kit.

You can try to mix up a real small batch & if it blends evenly with the paint (no lumps or streaks) & if the paint dries OK, I'd say you'd be in good shape, but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Looks like I need a tie breaker . . . 8) BTW, I noticed the gel coat stuff is looking a little stiff in the tube now. Last time I used it was 2001 or so . . . :^

Edit: Thanks TG
