I have a 89 vision pro 200 bass boat that the clear coat or gelcoat is almost gone. I'm restoring the boat, new stringers, transom and floor and I want to do away with the metal flake and go with some solid colors with gelcoat. Can u spray gelcoat over the metal flake? And if so what kind of prep needs to be done to it! If not what is my options on fixing it the way it is? Could use all the advice I can get!!! Thanks!!
