Gelcoat Shelf Life

I have a few "blemishes" on my Atlantic Blue hull and am going to give it a go to repair them myself. I probably need less than 2-4 oz of gelcoat for these repairs but minimum order quantity is a quart (32 oz) ... enough for years of self inflicted wounds even at my rate! Would storing gelcoat in the freezer extend the shelf life?

And ... how many YouTube videos do I need to watch to become and EXPERT at gelcoat repair?

What brand of gelcoat? If not generic, ask the manufacturer.

If you stow it in a garage in Florida, it may last 6 months

If you stow it in an air conditioned room, you may get 2 years
