The General said the Punxsuatawney Pill is wrong. I'm hoping the southern Groundhog is right as Phil is wrong over 70% of the time! The General also agrees with a ground hogs in Ohio, New York and Sun Prairie. the only one in agreement with Phil is in Nova Scotia. yet it is 35 and raining in N. E. GA right now! Come on Spring I need to hit the water!

Yes, it's about the same here. I'm about 45 miles NE of you. It rained all day today.

One good thing is the drought is over and the lakes around here should be okay this year. Or at least better than the past few years.

I want to hit the water also, and try out my latest cheap acquisition, an iboats reject, a Baretta with a 2.3 Liter Cobra. I'll probably take it to Hartwell for the first lake test.

David we go to Hartwell a lot as well as Russell and Chatuge. We use to like to ride up to Anderson and eat at Charlie T's but he lost his lease and now it will be something else, Bull feathers or something. Hope the food is as good.
Weather could be worse I have a friend that lives in West Virginia and he said they have 2 feet of snow on the ground.

No matter what the "prognosticators" say the truth is that there is six weeks to the official end of winter.Around here add another five or six to the end of hard water season.

He made his prediction and we are finally getting winter! almost 20 inches of white stuff over the weekend, 10 inches supposed to come tomorrow, and another storm brewing for the weekend ... winter has finally come to Central PA!

Definitely won't leave anybody needing a tow. I always will tow anyone as you never know when you will need one. Hope to be able to get out there and wave to you soon.
