My mercrusier control is needing help. Besides throttle not working 1 of the safety wires broke off taking part of the plastic it was attahed too.
I hot wired the wires and it starts but not safe and stalls in reverse.
Parked boat and won't use until I find what I am looking for.
So I am on a quest for a replacement.
I am on a budget as I am in middle of stator/ regulator change over too a alternator conversion kit. I have power steering and did not want to spend the big bucks on the ones that are around. I noticed the guy changing his for 80 bucks on this forum but not clear on bracket. ( what he used ) I have a 488 mercruiser
Regarding throttle control is their any companies that rebuild mine? or the teleflex I see on market?
