The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million
illegal immigrants! That would Be 11 million less people using
our gas. The price of gas would come down.

Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border. When they
catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq.

Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he
defended this country.

He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

This option will probably deter illegal Immigration and provide
a solution for the troops in Iraq and the illegal aliens trying to
make a better life for themselves.

If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.

Problem solved.

Heck the left want to take care of these poor souls as it is, move the kids in with Hillary, Kerry, Kennedy and the rest. I bet Rosie could take a few and Angilina would take one as well. Maybe even Tree or PW2 could have one. Heck 50% of the country like thie ideas of the left, each one could have a kid or 2. Problem solved
I personally like the plan, no matter who said it.

The Phillipinos did that for years. The supply and personnel depts. in the Navy were nicknamed the Phillipine mafia during my time(80-85). It seemed to work pretty well for them.

Yeah, I have tired of Carlin over the years, but simple answers were always a strength of his. I am with JB though, as the younguns is always the tough nut to crack with any of the supposed solutions to illegal immigration.

Personally I still like the QC plan:

Amnesty for all here now, with a looooong road to citizenship. We aren't packin' anybody up, simply not gonna happen, and it solves the youngun issue.

Carlin motivated addition: shortened road to citizenship with time served in military.

Severe penalties for hiring any illegal workers at all levels, yes, even the gardener. Examples made of some early offenders. That will eliminate the sucking sound, no reason to hop the fence . . .

This would also solve the so-called living wage issue. Yes, wages would increase for some jobs, but I am not convinced we would crumble and die . . .
