Do I need to use engine fogger In ga or Just fuel stabilizer and change the lower gear oil? Thanks

Depends on how long its gonna sit. Less than several months I doubt it. Fogger just keeps the pistons from corroding from long periods of inactivity.

It all depends where you are in GA. I'm just north of Atlanta and in my 12th straight month of putting the boat on the water. Granted it's not as often during the colder months, but still every couple of weeks. I keep the tank filled between trips and no special gas treatment or fogging. During the colder months I do drop the motor down so water doesn't sit and freeze in the lower unit exhaust. I change lower unit oil in the fall, primarily as a cheap water in oil check.

With the new E10 based fuels ALWAYS use a fogging oil to reduce chance of cylinders surface rusting....even stations that state non-ethanol have 1-5% due to cross contamination.

One more thing, I have unhooked to fuel tank and ran the motor until it cut off. There is still fuel in the see throu container that the fuel filter is in. Shouldnt that be gone also?
