get lower unit off

broke three screws off, how should I get it off? it is a 9.5hp

Have you relased the rest of the screws?<br />Im not sure that the three you broke will hold the unit left.

Have you removed the fourth screw? If so, you should find that you can force the unit off of the stubs of the broken bolts. <br /><br />Most of what caused the bolts to break was within the unthreaded opening, so depending on what is left after removing the lower unit, the removal may be relatively easy.
