Recently bought a new Fishfinder, Humminbird Matrix 17, and now, as I'm going to install the transducer, I cant figure out how in the world i can get the wire from the CC to the stern, through the hull of the boat. All of the other wires connecting the CC and the stern go through a 2' pipe, and theres no way to push a limp cable 15 feet through a pipe.

You can disconnect one of the wires and attach a string or thin rope to it and pull it through, now you have something to get through the pipe.Charlie

Go to Home Depot and get one of those things you use for fishing wiring & cabling through walls, or stringing wires under carpet. Think it's called a "fishing cable" or something. It's a coiled metal strip kind of like a tape measure only stiffer, on a reel. You push it through the conduit, tape your wires to it & reel 'em in.

That's a fishtape jtexas. <br /><br />You can tie a wad of cloth on the end of a string and suck it through the pipe with a shop vac. Then use the string to pull your cables.
