I'm looking to replace my cleats, fix a loose railing, and get at my bow light wire. Do I need to take out the upholstery in the cabin to do this, or is there an easier way. It seems I'll have to bite the bullet, and just remove the upholsery.

what kinda boat do you have? what exactly do you need to do to the bow light? if you need to replace the wire, you could pull the light out the top, tie the new wire to the old one, and pull the wire through the dash to pull the new wire into place.

If you cant to to the hardware mounting bolts and wiring without some disassembly. Then you know what you have to do. :D
