I recovered to the trailer by myself today since my usual helper didn't come, and the next in line was too distracted on the shoreline...
I did something I've only done one other time - leave it in gear on the trailer while I hooked up the cable and chain. I've said before that mine is stiff getting out of Fwd, but both times I left it in gear on the trailer, it was extra stiff. I'm wondering why.
I usually have the drive up a little when I'm getting off and on the trailer since the depth finder says like 2.5' or so. Could the prop actually be churning some sand, or could the small angle difference of the drive be causing it?
I was on the way home today when I realized I should've triggered the interrupter switch with it on the lake just to verify the stumble. I can't say I'm listening for it under normal shifting. I think it works though, and that I've got other probs.
