I've been reading this section a lot lately and it's giving me the itch to work on my project again. It's been so miserably hot outside lately I just can't bring myself to get out there and work and get covered in fiberglass dust. I suppose it would be great weather for laminating but I'm not quite to that point yet. I am taking my trailer to my parents shop this coming up Sunday for repairs, sandblasting, and painting. Maybe making some progress on the trailer will get me motivated to work on the boat too.

Re: Getting the itch

I live in Sacramento so I hear you on the heat thing. The last couple of days It has been in the 80s so I took advantage yesterday. I have been tempted to take the boat, a generator, a lantern and tools out at night to some deserted road near the rice fields(don't want to keep the neighbors awake) just to get some work done.

80's is great working weather. were hovering at 100 and 80% humidity. equates to 110 heat index. all projects are on hold. i'm just flying to the Keys Saturday, for a week of lobstering. the boat and Pwc's went down, this past Sunday.

Im in delaware and i hear ya on the humidity it was 85 percent yesterday and 97 degrees. I was outside on my day off working on the boat and when i got up this morning for work i could hardly move. I think the heat and sun got the best of me. Thank god for sick time/pay. I bet after i get some water in me ill be out there again today.
