i've had a stingray foil on my last boat at one time. all it did for me was break my anti ventilation plate for me when i hit a uso of some kind. it was removed never to be replaced with that item ever again...
trim tabs will help on a big boat, littler one too for that matter. there's real tabs (bennet or the likes) or auto tabs like smart tabs. either or will help hole shot...
ya don't need to hammer the throttle fwd. either. ya can roll up to full throttle w/o the jerk of a full throttle start.
