Well so much for the superbowl blowout... that was a hell of a game!!

Congrats giants fans... your team showed up to play... wish I could say the same for the pats. But I havn't seen an offensive line that chopped up since... well... never. The Pats might as well have waived on the giants to sack Brady at least once every set of downs.

and what was up with Brady's arm in the 4th? What the hell were they thinking even letting him pass at ALL?

Oh well, Giants deserved the win... esp. their defense.

Hmmm, do I catch a whiff of humble pie, heavy on the crow being served to our New England fans? :D

Congratulations to the Giants!

pats fan here...

Would have loved to see history made. I think the pats are a team that are as humble as they come. You never hear them trash talking. Belichick forbids it. I don't know how we didn't end up sacking eli late in the 4th... i don't know how we didn't get those 2 "almost interceptions" that would have sealed the game. I do know that there were a few lousy calls in the game... and i do know the giants pass rushers played their hearts out.

hats off to the giants this year. Since nobody "deserves" to win... They definitely earned it.

If you earn it, then you deserve it.

Yeah I agree, I don't know what was up with 4 quarter drive by the giants, and that one play, I'm sitting there cheering that it's over... meanwhile Eli manages to emerge from this dogpile and launches it and I'm like, don't matter, there's no way anybody will be there, he was under too much pressure... but then, bam down to the 25 yd line. I couldn't belive it. I knew they'd get the TD at that point.

No doubt...

I wonder what Peyton must be thinking/feeling... got "robbed" of a national championship in college, only to have the secondary QB while he was there, go on to win it the following year... now his "less talented" younger brother not only wins the superbowl before him, but is forever ingrained in history for one of the greatest escapes in all of football. I'm sure he's proud of his brother, but somewhere deep inside he's got to be going... son of a ..... !!! :D

GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an experience

Gettin there was ugly
At the airport at 9am
Flight Friday morning cancelled
Three more flights cancelled to Chicago
Left LGA at 730pm to Dallas - arrive 1130pm
Overnite stay at the "cowgirl" bar in the airport with 100 Giants fans stuck there as well was a blast
930 am flight to AZ
Arrive noon Saturday

Saturday night partied all nite in Glendale catchin alot of attitude from pompous Patsie fans.

Sunday at the stadium at 11am. Patsies talkin' up like Giant fans are second class citizens.

The NFL Experience outside the stadium was a waste to me. More for kids and women.

The game was filled with high's and lows and had everyone standing and screamin the whole game. Tom Petty sounded great and the show was pretty cool to see live. Even the old ladies were dancin in the isles.

The section I was in was all NYG season ticket holders and a few patsies who payed way too much. Felt like family surrounded me.

The ending had to be the most emotional I've been since my children were born. Huggin strangers like best friends and even a few tears of joy with my Pop made it very special to me.

Priceless was the look on patsies faces and the excuses that flowed in that awful NE accent.

Gonna ride this high for a while...........

I would recommend some restraint, Angus.

We know that the Giants beat two better teams (season records) that had previously beaten them (one twice) to become world champions, and that they earned the crown. (Please note they, not you,)

Dignified pride is much more attractive than claims of glory earned by others.

I wonder if it's really correct to call the superbowl winners world champions, since the NFL is only a national league instead of a worldwide league. No doubt that they would beat any other countries' team this year since no other countries really play American style football at this level. But if the rest of the world also played american style football, it stands to reason that it wouldn't be too long before one of our superbowl champs were beaten.

Just something to ponder.
