So my Boat hauler came over on sunday to do the gimbal bearing, and shift cable. Thank god he did it. You need good set of tools and special tools to do the job right. My motor and drive have been misaligned for 3 years. I always had difficulty installing the drive every year. When he put the new bearing in. The drive went in like a glove.

But now we went to replace the shift cable. The o ring for the seawater pump was crushed and was spraying salt water on the cable and gimbal bearing. Also could of caused my over heating all summer. As per my previous post.
We made the little tool for the cable. 9/16 socket with a nut welded to it. Im not paying $37.00 for a $2.00 socket. Well the brass nut is shot, so now he has to drill it out. I hope this goes well.
