Gimbal bearing install

I am running a 1986 4.3 lx 205 with an Alpha outdrive. I have a gimbal bearing from a Quick Silver transom kit. There is a yellow dot on one side, does this go inboard or outboard when installed in the housing.

You should see the dot in the upper left of the bearing after installing it. Directly opposite the grease zirk hole.
