Gimbel Bearing Installed Correctly ??????

Hi guys,
I just installed a new gimbel bearing in my 2000 SX drive. I marked the grease hole and when I seated it,
it is slightly off, like a 16th of an inch. I pumped grease in and it comes out around the outer edge of the bearing race, but not out the inner bearing edge.

Is this normal??

Turn the inner bearing a quarter turn, pump a couple of strokes, turn the bearing another quarter turn and pump some more. Do this a few times and you will have grease coming out of the inner race. Wipe up the excess grease before installing the drive.
