How do I know when the gimble is full of grease? I gave it several pumps of Gimble bearing grese but did not see it squriting out anywhere indicating its full...Not on the outside of the boat anyway. Should I see it somewhere or just pump it up? Thanks

You wont see it squirting out anywhere. You'd have to put about 1 litre of grease in enough to fill the drive bellows before any came out and then it would be through the gimbal bearing into the boat.

Just give it a couple of pumps and it will be fine.

It's best to lube it each year when you pull the outdrive off to inspect the bellows and lube the u-joints. Then you can see it squirting out around the gimbal bearing.

You did pull the outdrive off to lube the u-joints, didn't you?
