This is part funny and a bit frustrating. I've had this boat--16' Arrowglass--since July and it's been nothing but headaches. I've been towed in every week-end for the past 6 weeks (o/b problems)! Finally get the motor running good and I sink the boat--Yesterday. I guess hurricane Isidore has sent a lot of big waves our way. I had the boat anchored outside the break at an island in the inter-coastal and was standing on the beach. I looked out and this huge wave crashes over the top of my boat, floods it, and down it goes. Luckily about 15-20 guys on the beach (all half-drunk so they couldn't agree on the "right way" to fix this) came out to help and we were able to drag it in before it hit bottom. They tipped it on it's side and dumped all the water out (along with my cell phone, car keys, tools, ect..) so I was able to get towed in. I guess that's a blessing in itself but I feel like an *ss every time I take that thing out and have to get rescued.
<br />p.s.--i'll do a post in o/b engines forum for help with the motor because it's not running yet.
