I have a 1989 Glastron 180 Futura. It has a 135 merc on it and i havent found another boat of the same make and year. Just wondering if any one else has one or has seen one?
Mine is close. I have an 89 Futura 235 with a merc 350 mag. Like you I have not seen to many of these. I have seen one for sale in Quebec that's it. It's a great boat, bow rider with a nice swim platform.

I have the same boat/motor as Jwhit612, exept that mine's a '90. I also have not seen another. It's a clean boat and I like it overall, but I have concerns about lack of bow lift/plowing, and its effect on performance. Anyone have thoughts on this?
I just purchased a 1990 Futura 185 (I/O version) with the 4.3 mercruiser. Bit of a project, as the previous owner didnt think to keep an eye on it while in storage (complete interior replacement.. not to mention a top end rebuild on the 4.3. Oh well at least the sole is solid, & it gives me something to do over the winter) Its a nice boat all in all though. Pretty lines & the hull looks like it out to plane-out fairly quickly.
Welllll scratch what I said about a top end rebuild.... After pulling the motor, found that both exhaust manifolds, heads AND both sides of the block are cracked; all from freeze damage... ....
