glastron cutlas info

I am in the process of restoring a 16' glastron and was trying to find out some specifics for it. It's a GLASTRON 165 CUTLAS not sure of year; possible mid 70's. The web hasn't been too friendly to me.

First try to find the HiN on the boat..it is stamped in on the right side on the transom, they started using this HIN in `73 and up.
If it is there it should start with the letters GLA..for Glastron and the last two digits tell you the year.
If the boat is older than `73 you might be able to find a serie of digits glued in around the stern or under the dash..

Thank you for the help.Although i found out why i was having soo many problems finding information. Some how during my late night searches i went from a glasspar to a glaston and never thought twice. when i went out to get the HiN i realized my mistake.
