hi im new to this site and right now im restoring a 1969 glastron v-164 inboard and cant find the serial number so if anyone can help me out that would be awesome

Ok, now, to find the numbers, look just above and slightly aft of the starter. Should be a metal tag with the Merc serial number on it.

Are you looking for info on the boat, or the engine and drive. You posted in the Mercruiser forum.

now to the inside its been sitting for 13 years do u think if the stringers are and the wood that the motor is sitting on do u think that stuff would still be good or need replacement
