I can't believe those people were standing up when they entered the harbor. I'da been down on my knees, holding on for dear life and praying as well. That pilot knew how to time that entry.

Experience and local knowledge got that boat in, luck and globe size had nothing to do with it................................. Ok, maybe big ones to try, but not a first time for that crew.

Some boats are made for it. I remember when I was in Naples on the USS Everglades in the winter the weather was like that most of the time. 26' motor wale boat was ferrying crew and supplies outside the sea wall all the time. 50' utility boat made one try at it, and capsized.

That wale boat rode like a fishing bobber, but it always landed prop side down.
