I have a 1967 glastron that was left in the water for many years by the previous owner causing the gelcoat to craze badly. In rebuilding it I sanding down the hull to remove the ridges that form on either side of the crazing.

I just tried glu-vit to coat the hull. It went on like honey and took 2 days to dry. After ALOT more sanding the glu-vit has filled and sealed the crazed areas so now they are completely fair. Just amazing stuff.

now to prime & paint (FINALLY).

Todd
Yeah, that is some good stuff. I just finished using it to seal my floor, I added some white pigment so I could see it easier when applying it.
Dennis

if its like honey, would it be best to spread it on with a bondo paddle? seems to me that crazing would be like grouting, lol, fill the cracks and away you go
