Hello, I have a 14ft aluminum boat that always leaked but not terrible (could leave it in water for like 3 days without draining) now it’s pretty leaky and I plan on putting gluv on the seams and rivets. My questions are 1. Did you do two coats like recommended (if not say how you did it) 2. Did you use primer or and etch wash or just sand with 80-120 grit sand paper and apply? 3. What was the temperature that the gluvit cured at? I am in a situation where I have to do it outside so the weather is a big factor. 4. What did you paint over top with? How soon did you paint? What did you do to the gluv it to apply paint to it? I think that’s it. Thanks any help is welcome.

i did two coats

cant remember what i sanded with

temp 70's probably maybe 80 - not outside anything the can says if it says anything.

i also replaced about 400 rivets so the gluvit was a prophylactic against future leaks
