So what options are available for sealing seams and rivets below water line? I know about Gluvit seems there was another product that goes on and is black in color I have seen used before but I can not think of the name of it to save my @Q#!!
Give me some options!!!

Re: Gluvit or????????

you're thinking of a product called "coat-it" from the marine line of the "Goop" folks? used it on my Lone Star inside and out. no idea how it works as i haven't yet splashed the boat!

Re: Gluvit or????????

I used Coat-It on the inside hull of a Alumacraft Lunker V16 I was restoring a couple of years ago - the can of Gluvit I bought was rock hard. I've had zero issues. What I really liked is that its seals the seams and rivets very well, plus it seems to have added ridgity to the bow, where I primarily used it. The stuff dries rock hard. If you do use it, be very careful to not coat the holes that let water drain from the bow to the transom.
