I have a section on my deck (2' X 1') that has lots of cracks in the epoxy and hairline cracks on the ply. I would like to use some gluvit to treat then laminate with 1708 and epoxy. What do the experts think? Thanks for a quick response.

Gluvit is really for aluminum. It would be redundant in this situation.

What makes you think the current product is epoxy.

A section of deck with lots of cracks typically means there are other issues too.

Gluvit is a relatively high viscosity epoxy, meaning it may be a difficult to wet out the glass with it, you would be better off with a lower viscosity and price epoxy.

You don't want to use 1708 with epoxy, because the 08 part is mat, mat isn't used with epoxy, straight 1700 (17 oz) will work.
