Re: Go fast!

I'm not sure I would want to go 190+ MPH in anything other than a plane.

Re: Go fast!

Maybe I'll bite.
Wouldn't be interested in running drugs though. I would make my business running 5 gallon flush toilets, and incandescent light bulbs from Canada... :D

Re: Go fast!

I've worked on jet engines (T56 & T58) enough already. I'd have to be doing the drug trade just to afford the upkeep and fuel!

Re: Go fast!

Its funny you all keep mentioning drug running boats... I'm taking a class now about drugs and drug related crime and I'm writing my term paper on the marine means that smugglers use to get drugs into the us (if anyone has any good info PM me :D) and I was doing some research and got distracted and looked at go fasts lol

Re: Go fast!

Oh boy! Where did all the crazy drug stuff come from?

It uses outdrives, the jet engines are off a helicopter, instead of turning a rotor it turns the drives. The problem is salt water and the turbines don't go well together, leading to huge rebuild bills often.

The speed number comes from the fact that there a quite a few Nortechs with the same power package, there's no need to test something when your just duplicating a know package. Although 190 mph is probably hoping for the best more like 150- 160 mph.

Look up submarines used for drug running. Pretty interesting, saw a show on it about a month ago. The cartels are using scientist to develop some interesting things other than drugs.

Re: Go fast!

I'm in WV, and I know a guy, who knows a guy, whose cousin married a girl, whose brother works with a guy, whose pappy brews white lightening. I can probably get a great bulk rate;), if we buy all the materials to brew a 'hot' batch of the really good stuff:eek:. And provide him clean mason jars & lids. It's been more then 10minutes since I had to do complex math, how may quarts in a gallon? :D

I'm land locked, and here in WV, we prefer to abuse prescription drugs prescribed to someone else. And meth, so no thank you on running drugs, but I'd definitely like in on the 5gal toilet black market action. My father-in-law must eat wallpaper paste, stools like cement. :mad:I've suggested mixing fiber-cal into everything he eats.....Can't seem to grasp the 'courtesy' flush concept, even if just keep from plugging the 'new' hated lo-flow toilet 3-4X/wk. He actually tried to buy the old toilet back from the plumber, less then 3 days after the bathroom remodel was finished. Plumber said he couldn't sell it back, probably had already sold it to 1 of his pals/family members.

At 190+mph, chine walking is an entirely different beast then it was on my granddad's tri-hull with a 75hp merc. I don't think they make Depends that could stand up to that kind of abuse......................

But come on guys, it's worth $10Mil, $250K is almost nothing compared to what it's worth. I love those kinds of ads: Spend a $100 & you'll easily double your money. Then why don't you spend a $100 & sell it for more yourself? Wow............................................Thanks I needed this tonight...JC
