I went out on a friend's boat(24') to run the engines and after we cleared into the bay of Green Bay early morning the first Island we came up to there were markers on both sides of the island and the taller markers were off to the right and I told my friend that it seemed the markers were telling us to stay right of the island. Wrong ABout 300 yards away from the island, we slowed down and stopped. My friend killed the motors and tilted them up, saying to me, in a very controlled voice" We just landed on ground"My freind rocked the boat(he ain't small) and said "We're not grounded" and got out of the boat and started pulling the boat towards the channel. After a few minutes, he got back in and he fired up the engines and we went back to the channel and had a great cruise out to the bay. Next time, Local Charts, I swear.
