If you follow those two purple wires I'll bet they go to the extra temp switch OMC put on those things as a control for the "automatic choke". Everybody bypassed that switch out because it cause so many problems with the motor running well.

EDIT: Sorry, just saw the switch in the pic. Leave them alone run like the wind.

Awesome one more wire to figure out I forgot to load the picture so I will do that when you I get home then I can run like the wind

Ok here she is the mysterious wire. Now it looks like it goes below the wire one the medal bracket, the two wires are the same color but there is no connector on the end so I am not sure.

And then the yellow wire is off of the ignition box and it is just cut. Does anyone know if this one is supped to be connected?

Have you checked this diagram? I think its very close to your motor.

Thanks for those, they are very close but a little different. I actually had a guy post the exact one for me in a different post. Yours is in color though I like that.
