Going to paint, need your vote.

Going to paint my boat, but trying to decide on the color.
It's a 1993 Maxum 1900 Eddie Bauer.
I really like the black, but the interior has the deep teal/green accents.
What do you guys think? Green or black.

My vote is black. Goes with most any color scheme.

There is a VERY dark green that looks black until the sun hits it. It would look great on your boat.

Do both. Black wide body line with a dark green/teal accent line above it, or below it, or in the black portion.

Definitely the black...or the dark green that looks black until sunlight hit hit.

The black makes it look like a newer model IMHO.

How much will the paint job cost...if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the input, I think the black makes it look newer too.
I've been doing a lot of research, and I'm going to paint it myself. Shouldn't cost more than $100 for paint and primer. Labor on the other hand will be lots of evenings and weekends.

black gets real hot . i heard its hard to repaint a boat black without problems

The black looks real sharp.
I like the dark green accent idea to tie the interior color into to the scheme.

I like the black as well in the main area. Nice thing is...if you scratch it, you can touch it up with a Sharpie until the next paint session!

I love black vehicles, have a black truck and motorcycle and almost got my Jeep in black. that said I would vote for the green. I like the way it looks.

I prefer the second one, with the stripe going up...but either one is a nice, subtle graphic.
