I have a 5hp Golden Jet (ESKA),put in a new carb kit and adjusted it and it started .Ran fine until it warmed up and then it seems to run too rich and cuts out.
I adjusted it leaner and then every way I could think of but nothing works till it cools and I go back to factory specs. The carb kit comes with a very small red o-ring type gasket that I cant find a location for.Cant find a diagram. Also where could I get that rubber fuel pump diaphram just in case.
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Re: Golden Jet Carb Problems

These Eskas can be real heart breakers many hours and lots of money with no
solutions.Certified parts corp should have the fuel pump element.
Is it pumping water?Water should mist out the relief holes on the leg.
Check the spark when it cuts out.Are the points set right?
Check the library for an aftermarket service manual.Fuel pump element goes in at a 45 degree angle 10 oclock and 8 oclock.
